Science and technology volunteer is an indispensable part of modern volunteer system. The project aims at clarifying the basic meaning of S&T volunteer service, analyzing the social environment of the S&T volunteer system, and discussing the necessity and feasibility of constructing S&T volunteer service system in China. Moreover, the project will study issues such as staff recruitment, motivation mechanism, funding source, operation mode, organization management, service field, volunteering activities and other aspects that is important for constructing the S&T volunteer system in China.
