Abstract: Social network is a net structure of relationships that formed in people's daily life. It functioned effectively in recovery work after the disaster, and was treated as one of the most reliable resources. Basing on the research data of rapid demands of Wenchuan earthquake recovery, this article analyses the function of social network in searching and rescueing victims, providing information and support, and keeping mental health of people in disaster area. And this article also discusses relative theory and policy suggestions of social network.
