Abstract: It is an effective way to promote the county agriculture competitiveness and county economic development, and increase peasants income by cultivating and developing characteristic agriculture industry cluster. Jiangxi province built a characteristic cluster innovation way in developing its navel orange industry. They valued science and technology innovation(STI), and added technical elements into every industrial link. Through field study of Xinfeng navel orange, this report deeply analysed and summarized the experience in industrial developmental progress. It also gives some policy suggestions on how to promote the development of county characteristic industry cluster .
