Abstract: This survey showed that most of S&T professionals only change their jobs in the same city or county, but very rare in the same province. Among different provinces, the talents are still tending to flow to the eastern and southern China. But the attraction of the central cities if the middle and western China gradually appears. The lower and middle level young S&T professionals began flowing to the west from the east. This paper suggests the middle and west areas should improve the talent environment and grasp the great opportunities to attract young S&T professionals.
