Abstract: Fundamental research is the source of technology innovation and supports China's sustainable development. Recent years, the number of fundamental research funds input is increasing, but the proportion is dropping. Most of the fund is from central financial revenue, some from local finance input. This article proposes some policy suggestions on improving China's fundamental research input situation.
