Abstract: America is a representative of agricultural technology extension system that based on universities. The agricultural technology extension mode leaded by universities in America played a crucial role in American developed modern agriculture. This thesis analyses the main function of universities in agricultural technology extension system, and summarizes the features of universities extension mode, and proposes some related suggestions for China to incorporate universities with public extension system.
