141st Report in 2011: Analysis on the Status of Job Burnout of Science-technological Workers and the Relative Factors

Abstract: The burnout is a kind of professional pressure, which means the symptom-complex of exhaustion and excessive fatigue of an individual who stays long-time under professional pressure. It impacts greatly an individual's mental and physical status as well as working status, and also the organization in which the individualworks. This article has used the revised Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) to test 2759 science-technological workers' burnout status, and analyses the reasons as well as offering some policy proposals on reducing their feelings of burnout.
