Abstract: To expand the space of science, technology and innovation in the new type of urbanization, we need to have a forward-looking consideration in the strategic level. This paper firstly analyzes the situation of the new urbanization development guided by science, technology and innovation. Then it puts forward the guiding ideology about how science, technology and innovation support and lead the new urbanization, and gives policy recommendations from five aspects as strategic planning, technology system construction, demonstration and demand side policies, local and basic level work, and talent cultivation.
