Abstract: S&T professionals in medical and health organization work long time a day, about 8 hours and 18 minutes in average. Clinicians in third-grade class-A hospital work even longer, about 9 hours and 30 minutes. Compared with 2006, licensed assistant doctors increased by 17.5% in 2011, but patients increased by 62.7% and hospitalised cases increased by 93.5%. In addition, 39.1% of S&T professionals in medical and health organization are multiple-job holding, which means they work even longer. Long time of working and high pressure make these S&T professionals exhausted. This paper gives suggestions on the distribution of medical source and etc. to improve the working environment of S&T professionals in medical and health organization.
