Abstract: Residents in disaster area are peace in mind. Only a few of the population (2.5%) participated in activities like appeal and petition. Most residents are positive to the public order, but they still worry about the threat of aftershocks. In addition, more people feel unhappy with inequalities, especially in the reconstruction and gap of wealth. 79.8% of the residents are satisfied with current living conditions because of rapid recovery. However, more than 20% families believe it takes more than 3 years or even longer to recover pre-quake living standards. 60% of the residents expect the life will be better in the future while only less than 10% expect the contrary. |
