Abstract: Probable increase of influences of shortage in supporting measures causes considerable uncertainty to the future of the valuable financial innovation tool, which may even be aborted with lowered market entry conditions because of relatively successful pilot projects in S&T insurance. The article suggests that governments shall continuously play a leading role in the next stage, especially the establishment of an S&T insurance guiding fund at the national level.
