Abstract: Maoji national sustainable development pilot area offers a sample of new urbanization. The urbanization work in pilot zones is led by preemptive principle, with urban-rural coordination. The subject is the local transfer of rural population. It is supported by green industry and emerging industry, guaranteed by improving urban function, so that we can overcome the difficulties in the process of traditional urbanization. It is suggested that we should conduct small-scale pilot zones of urban-rural integration.
