Abstract: Public S&T service can promote regional and industrial S&T innovation ability. Building up and developing the system of public S&T service for governmental procurement is an important way to promote S&T innovation ability and also an important way to improve governmental S&T input efficiency. This paper introduces the content and mode of governmental procurement and the challenges it will encounter. It analyses the experience of building the S&T innovation service platform in Zhejiang Province and then gives some policy suggestions.
