Abstract: The internet of things is an important part in strategic emerging industry and has vast potential for future development. Although China has comparative advantage in developing the internet of things, it also faces some restrictions, such as lacking of unified development strategy, insufficient core technologies, under developed standard system, shortage in address resources, and inadequate large-scale application. Pertinent measures shall be adopted to promote the development of internet of things in China.
